FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We want to make you feel welcome and for your visit to our clinics in Oxford or Leamington Spa to be as enjoyable and hassle-free as possible.

Below you can find answers to some of the most common queries we receive from new clients.

HOW CAN I GIVE A TREATMENT AS A GIFT?

​We offer Gift Vouchers for any amount of your choice; these can be purchased over the phone or by email and can be posted to you or the voucher recipient, or otherwise collected from the clinic in person.

Vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months. Please refer to our Policies Page ​for further details relating to Gift Vouchers.

Alternatively, you are welcome to ‘pre-pay’ for a treatment booked for a loved one, and again this can be done over the phone or by email.

IS THERE A CONSULTATION FEE?

Yes, the Consultation Fee is £70 and we take payment for this as a deposit to secure your booking.

​The Consultation Fee can be redeemed off treatment should you have it (must be used within 3 months of consultation) or otherwise it simply covers the cost of consultation.

Please give at least 48hrs’ notice if you can no longer make your appointment or the deposit may be lost.

Please note that the Consultation Fee is non-refundable* once you have had a consultation. *Please see our Policies Page for further details and get in touch if you require clarification.

DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

A £70 deposit is required for all new bookings – it either covers the Consultation Fee and/or is redeemed off your treatment bill on the day.

We can process this quickly and securely over the phone with payment card details from you.

Deposits are non-refundable if: you fail to arrive for your appointment; arrive so late that you miss your scheduled appointment slot; or cancel with less than 24hrs’ notice. ​​

DOES THE CONSULTATION INVOLVE ANY OBLIGATION?

No; Consultation is always without obligation as we respect that you need time and space to make an informed decision that is personally right for you.
Please be aware though that Consultation appointments which have been taken are always non-refundable

We make our Consultation Fee redeemable off our clinical treatments as a gesture of good will to clients.

WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?

Of course we understand that sometimes plans need to change and we just ask that you please give us at least 48hrs notice if you can no longer attend a scheduled appointment.

Please refer to our Policies Page should you need more information regarding Booking Deposits and Cancellations.

Equally, we will always give you as much notice as we can should we ever need to change the diary from our end.

WHAT IF I AM LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

We know that delays happen on the roads and public transport and we always appreciate being called ahead of time so we know that you may be running late.

We often have a very full clinic diary and make every effort to keep our appointments running to time. We cannot keep following clients waiting when one person is late. If you are so late that you miss your appointment slot then it may need to be rescheduled and you will lose a deposit you have paid for that slot. Please refer to ourPolicies Page for T’s & C’s relating to lateness and deposits.

​For your first visit it is a good idea to arrive 5-10 minutes early if you can manage, so that you can have time to take a breather and complete treatment forms, so we can maximise consultation discussion/treatment time with you.

HOW CAN I FIND YOUR CLINICS?

When you make your appointment we will be more than happy to try to give directions for you and to send them via email/explain over the phone.

Please note that visits to our clinics are by appointment only to ensure the utmost privacy for our clients.

WHERE CAN I PARK? DO I NEED TO PAY TO PARK?

You can park conveniently and free of charge right outside both of our clinics – we will happily give you details when you book. ​

DO YOU OFFER WEEKEND APPOINTMENTS?

Yes, we offer a number of Saturday appointments to provide more options and flexibility for our clients.

WILL THE SAME PRACTITIONER CARRY OUT MY TREATMENT EACH TIME?

Yes. All of our clients are personally seen at every stage by Rosie who is the proprietor of Oxford & Leamington Facial Aesthetics and our sole practitioner.

This ensures continuity of treatment and standard of care for your peace of mind. We also enjoy getting to know our clients and making sure you feel at ease.

IS THERE A CHARGE FOR BOTOX FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS?

We offer Follow-Up appointments for toxin procedures at 2-3 weeks following your treatment (i.e. the time it takes to take full effect) as we believe it is best practice to do so. This is available so that Rosie can review your personal prescription and the results of the treatment once it has settled. You will be advised ahead of time if may be any small charge involved. Please refer to our Policies Page to see full T’s & C’s and more information about Follow-Up appointments.

For other procedures, including Thread Lifts and Dermal Fillers, review appointments are also offered as a matter of course as we believe this to be best practice – you will always be advised at the time of treatment and/or booking a review appointment whether any charge may be involved.

WHEN AND HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY TREATMENT?

​All treatments are to be paid in full on the day of treatment, directly following treatment at the clinic

​We accept cash and all major debit/credit cards, including American Express. We do not accept cheques

If you intend to pay using a gift voucher, please advise us of this when booking and bring the voucher with you

If a loved one is treating you they may like to pre-pay for treatment over the phone or by purchasing a gift voucher

HOW CAN I PURCHASE OBAGI MEDICAL PRODUCTS AND LIFEPLUS SUPPLEMENTS?

Our clients contact us via text, phone or email to purchase their skincare products and supplements.

We take payment for the product(s) at the time it’s ordered and let you know once it is ready to collect. If you need something posted this can be arranged.

Please note that for prescription only products a consultation and/or confirmation of details will be required.

You can order LifePlus Supplements via our LifePlus webpage – there is a link which takes you to the LifePlus online shop, allowing you to arrange delivery to your home address

DO YOU OFFER COURSES OR DISCOUNT OFFERS ON TREATMENTS?

We do not offer courses or special offer discounts on treatments.

This is because we never want clients to pay for more than they need or can use, and we do not believe it is ethical to promote or seek to sell clinical procedures.

We value and reward client loyalty with discounts for existing clients who return for re-treatment. Many of our clients tell us they appreciate our very fair pricing and recognition of their loyalty.

IS THERE DISABLED ACCESS AT YOUR CLINICS?

Yes. Both our clinics are located on the ground floor with wider disabled access doorways.
